How do we begin the process of partnering with Global?

Analysis
We begin by selecting a point person from your company to our liaison on behalf of you operation. We work with and through this person to learn your management structure and process. We will then asses your staffs needs and customize a solution.  While doing so we will develop a guide lines handbook or operations manual. The Operations manual will developed and updated regularly.

Transition and Pilot
Then a transition schedule with times lines, process maps, resource allocation and training program with presented and approved. Piloting the project begins, and is in place until the quality meets both our standards.

Implementation of Transition
We begin to ramp up slowly and doing work at first on a small scale. The auditing and quality checks are still usually in place. We gradually go to the planned volume and complete transition plan quality assessment and measurements. 

Partnership Services
After  the operations teams of both companies are satisfied with we continue services to you according the guide lines of the MSA and SOW we continue and while supplying you daily, weekly, and monthly management assessments reports.

What kind of experience does Global’s staff have?

We assign highly experienced managers to your accounts – with over 10 years of experience in the medical billing industry.  This is the maximum experience available in India.  In addition, we have an in-house training department that offers college graduates a three-week structured program with another two weeks of on the job training.

Are you HIPAA compliant? If so, how?

Yes we are!  We make sure to remain up to date and compliant with HIPAA regulations. We continue to remain compliant as the regulations change over time.

We maintain the highest level of confidentiality with all information from your practice. Global falls under the extension of Business Associate (BA) under HIPAA.   A Business Associate (BA) is any person(s) or entity that performs a function or activity on behalf of a Covered Entity (CE) and involves the use or disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI).

The following are few steps taken at Global to ensure that we are HIPAA compliant.

• Every employee enters a Confidentiality Agreement that prohibits any employee or individual from using, publishing, disclosing or divulging confidential information.  This agreement is enforceable with punishment that may extend up to seven years of imprisonment.
• All of our entry points are controlled by top end access controls, which permit only employees/authorized personnel to enter the office.
• The entire office is manned by independent Security Agencies (24 hours a day/7 days a week).
• All printed billing documents are shredded in the office under supervision.
• Connection to client servers is through Secure VPN tunnels with 128-bit encryption.

What is the turn around time on claims?

Global commits to turnaround in 48 hours for all charge/payment batches received.  We also guarantee that we will follow up on all claims beyond 45 days.

How do I know what is going on with my accounts?

You will receive monthly reports regarding account status.  These reports will show detail regarding amounts billed, collected and adjusted for the month.  You will also be able to see how many and what type of procedures were completed.  We also hold periodic meetings to review your account with a yearly meeting to recap the year’s progress and set goals for the next year.  Of course, you are encouraged to call at any time with feedback or questions.   We pride ourselves on responsiveness.

How do I get documents to you?

The documents may be scanned and placed on an FTP site with access privileges granted to us.   This is one of the safest and easiest solutions for document transfer; most clients prefer this method.
